Thomas Duke Company ("Thomas Duke," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.thomasduke.com, the property websites we operate for the buildings we market or manage (together, the "Sites"), and the listing and property-survey communications we send, and how we use and protect that information. By using the Sites you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, ask about a property, request that we list your property, respond to a property survey, or otherwise send us a message, we collect what you choose to provide. That is usually your name, email address, phone number, company, and the content of your message (for example, the property you are interested in or your space requirements).

Information collected automatically. When you submit a form, we record the page you submitted it from and your IP address, so that we can respond to you and protect the Sites against spam and abuse. Like most websites, our servers also keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of the request) for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools on the Sites. Some features load services from other companies, described below, and those companies may set their own cookies or collect technical information under their own privacy policies.

Third-party services

• Google Maps and Google Fonts. Property maps and some fonts are provided by Google, which may receive your IP address and browser information when those features load. See Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• Email delivery. We use a third-party email service to deliver form notifications to our staff and the listing emails we send to you.
• Brochures and virtual tours. Property brochures are produced by our marketing platform provider, and some listings link to virtual tours hosted by other providers. Following those links is subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services linked from the Sites.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• respond to your inquiries and provide the brokerage, leasing, and property-management services you ask about;
• send you property information, listings, and surveys you have requested or that relate to a relationship you have with us;
• operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Sites;
• keep business records and comply with legal obligations; and
• protect the rights, property, and safety of Thomas Duke, our clients, and others.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• with Thomas Duke brokers and staff who need it to respond to you;
• with service providers who help us operate the Sites and deliver email, only for that purpose;
• with property owners, landlords, or other parties to a real-estate transaction when you ask us to connect you with them or when it is needed to carry out a transaction you are pursuing;
• when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others; and
• as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, subject to this Privacy Policy.

Your choices

• Email. You can unsubscribe from listing emails using the link in any such email, or by contacting us at the address below.
• Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. We will honor your request unless we must keep the information for legal or legitimate business reasons.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to maintain our business records and meet legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Sites are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed. Changes take effect when they are posted.
